At K44, we are committed from day one to have a positive impact on our environment and community. Sustainability is the core of our brand, but a long journey to complete. We know that we are not yet perfect, but we promise you that sustainability will always be a constant topic of conversation with our partners and with YOU.

Materials

Recycled Polyester: Our swim shorts are made from 100% recycled polyester processed from TOPGREEN recycled filament, an outstanding environment-friendly fiber based on the material of recycled post-consumer PET bottles, which were processed through grinding, washing, melting, re-polymerizing, spinning and texturizing to yarn. It repurposes waste, reduces our reliance on petrochemicals and prevents environmental pollution.

Linen: Our shirts are made from linen, a textile made from the fibers of the flax plant. Flax grows naturally and requires no additional water other than rainwater, making it the most eco-friendly fabric. Linen is very strong, absorbent and dries fast which make it comfortable to be used in hot weather.

Production

We are working with local businesses to support the local production and ensure ethical practices while making your clothes.

Packaging

We are giving the same attention to our packaging as our products themselves. Likewise, we research and source the most sustainable materials we can find making sure it’s the best and most sustainable it can be, while still making sure your products arrive perfectly. Our hang tags and mail boxes are 100% recycled/recyclable. As for our product bags, they are both reusable and biodegradable.
